Not long after the first light of day, you』ll leave the city of Melbourne and cruise through the Western Plains of Victoria on your way to the historic town of Ballarat. You』ll get to know a little more about the history and culture of the area while enjoying a cup of fresh morning tea.
Afterward, you』ll drive through the picturesque western volcanic plains, where you』ll have the chance to explore the Australian bush during a gentle stroll to the Silverband Falls. Next, you』ll make your way into the only township within the park: the town of Halls Gap for a picnic style lunch. Keep an eye open for kangaroos and other wildlife that can be seen around the area.
After lunch, it』s time to head into the mountains to Boroka Lookout, which overlooks the Western Plains of Victoria and the Wonderland Turntable. After that, you』ll have the chance to stretch your legs on a short leisure bush hike to the icon of the Grampians: the Grand Canyon.
